CTAR Corp. was founded by Stephanie McLarty and Tina Gokstorp, whose vision and leadership have brought the company considerable success in a short amount of time.

Stephanie McLarty
Chief Catalyst, Client Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility

Prior to co-founding CTAR, Stephanie worked for a major telecommunications company on a special asset recovery project. She is now a Canadian Technical Expert on the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). The IEC is the sister organization to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and handles all standards relating to electronics. In this high-level role, Stephanie sits on the committee for Environmental Standardization for Electrical and Electronic Products and Systems. She is currently advising on the “Recycling, Reuse & Recovery” working group.

Having lived in five countries outside of Canada - Germany, Austria, Spain, Thailand, and India - Stephanie brings a multitude of international education and work experience to her portfolio. She studied Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in her Master's degree, which allows her to work with clients to integrate asset recovery into their CSR reporting.

In 2009, Stephanie was selected by the Women's Executive Network for their elite mentoring program. This gives high potential young women the opportunity to be mentored by the most successful and influential women in Canada.

At CTAR, Stephanie oversees daily operations, ensuring smooth transactions and resolving any issues which arise. She is in charge of client relations and describes her work as truly “relationship management”. Raising awareness about e-waste and environmental advocacy are engrained in her work.
